Warnings
All nails have a small number at the tip that indicates their width:n° 0 = extra large, n° 1 = large, n° 2 = medium, n° 3 = small.
The box contains the three types of nails (Soft, Natural and Hard) and the relative numbers for each of them:
two nails of n°1, one nail of n°2, one of n°3 and one of n°0.

For those who deem it necessary to thicken the thumb nail, it is possible to apply "cyanoacrylic" glue or gel on its surface. (video tutorials 5)
The relative types and sizes of nails can be purchased later with the appropriate refills atmailgnkusers@gmail.com
The double-sided adhesive has no prerequisites for causing problems of any kind to the natural nail. After a maximum of three days of use it is advisable, at least for one night, to remove the synthetic nail to let the natural nail.
Preparation
The natural nail, before application, needs a simple cleaning with nail polish remover and a wash with soap and water in order to eliminate impurities or residues from previous applications. It is advisable to remove any excess cuticle on the nail by pushing it towards the cuticle (a synthetic nail can be used). Choose the size of the synthetic nail that best fits the anatomy of your nail (1, 2 or 3) by checking it with the width of the back of the natural nail. Place the selected synthetic nail on your nail pressing lightly towards the natural nail to check if there is any space left between the two nails.
If there is still space, proceed as follows:
-
for nails Soft rinducethe length of the nail from the soft side so as to have more shapeable margin from the thicker side.
-
with the Naturals it is possible to shape the nail by forcing the base longitudinally (see figure below) to widen the radius or file one or both sides by reducing the edges until the center of the synthetic nail fits well with the back of thethatnatural.
-
to model Hard follow the instructions described above for Soft nails.
Done thisoperation, the natural nail and the synthetic onethey will have to fit well in the center and on the sides of the cuticle. This will help ensure the anchoring is effectiveof the nailfakewiththe real one and to avoid the formation of a step between the end of the nail and the cuticle. This is to avoid that in the case of using a technique such as therasgueoor itstrumming it does not happen that the synthetic nail can hook on the strings.

The application
Detach the double-sided tape from the strip on which it is placed using the special tab and, once the measurements have been taken, apply it to the natural nail. Press on all sides, paying particular attention to the area corresponding to the tab, then lift it to remove the protective film. Position the synthetic nail on the finger starting from the cuticle side towards the end of the nail, making sure that there is perfect adherence between the synthetic nail and the natural nail. Model the false nail using the coarse-grained side of the file supplied in the kit. Clean any residue left by the filing with the sponge side rounding the end of the nail until obtaining_cc781905-5cde -3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_ a smooth and flowing surface; the smoother and more compact the nail will be the greater its sound performance. You are now ready to play!
Removal
The removal of the synthetic nail is obtained by applying a drop of a common hand sanitizing gel to the edges of the nail. After waiting a few seconds gently lift the synthetic nail until you feel the anchorage give way to the natural one. This prevents micro-traumas to the nail cushion. Once the nail has been removed, proceed with cleaning the nail using a remover and washing the nail afterwards with soap and water.

FAQs
If the nail does not adhere well
Before applying, check that you have reduced the sides of the synthetic nail until it matches the back of your nail or "force" the shape of the nail as per the video tutorial and the description in the box " Preparation". Make sure you have eliminated all traces of the previous application or washed the nail with soap and water before the next one.
If the sound of the nail does not satisfy
Although the synthetic nails, thanks to the components con which they are made, tend to maintain a good roundness and precision of sound, over time and the continuous stress on the strings they undergo wear irregular which can cause deterioration of the sound. By filing the nail with the fine-grained side (sponge) of the file supplied you can bring the nail back to maximum smoothness on the string thus recreating the initial roundness of sound. Possibly after filing wipe the nail with a cloth in order to remove any residual dust.
If the nail hooks on the strings
The hooking of the nail to the strings is possible especially for guitarists who often use styles such asStrummingor theRasgueoswhere, by striking the strings with the back of the nail, it is possible that the end of the synthetic nail (cuticle side) hooks onto a string.
This is due to the space (step) between the edge of the cuticle and the end of the synthetic nail, often caused during application by a failure to check and verify perfect adhesion between the nail and the cuticle. However, if you don't have the time and means to remove the nail and apply it again correctly you can use the finishing adhesive tape supplied with the kit: tear off a strip of about one centimeter and place it in so as to cover the space between the nail and the cuticle.
If your natural nail is subject to surface modifications (wavy nail) before applying the synthetic nail you can slightly smooth out the bumpy parts with the coarse and then finish it off with the fine-grained one. However, the application of the "finishing tape" is also recommended in advance for all guitarists who usually use the back of the nail or specific techniques.
